Salty Caramel, Wildberry Lavender, and the rest of the flavors won’t be churned together in Columbus anymore.
After a few months filled with major obstacles inside their production kitchen, Jeni’s will no longer be making the ice cream in Central Ohio. Business First reported the story this weekend.
The kitchen that caused listeria concerns twice in the last five months will still be used for specialized purposes, after ingredients go through an initial cleansing and prep at another location.
The final product will be made at a dairy company not far from Akron.
